RULE ONE・Welcome! Stark here, she/her pronouns, though I’m not picky at all since I typically write male muses and I’ll answer to their names/pronouns just fine. I’m 30+ and I’ve been rping since I was 11, so I’ve been around the block a time or two and I’m real low-drama. I work full-time, so I can be low to moderate activity, but I’m always around to chat - discord upon request.

RULE TWO・I don't follow for follow and I'm mutuals only. If I follow you, it means I've read your rules and most if not all of your info on your blog (sometimes I skim if I'm low concentration that day), and it means that I'm interested in writing with you. This is permission to hit me up with asks or send me an IM! I like to keep a clean dash, so I will unfollow sometimes if there's excess OOC chatter being posted, if we haven't interacted after a long period and/or if I come to the conclusion that perhaps our writing wouldn't mesh.

RULE THREE・I intend to start posting starter calls once I'm in a comfortable place with my drafts, and there's a link in each characters profile on this carrd as well as on my blog main page with links for starter calls. If you don't see a starter call you'd like, memes are honestly the best way to get my attention and get something started with me! I make it a point to post them consistently into my queue, and I always turn asks into threads unless you request otherwise or we do a lot of them, in which case I'll just pick a few of them instead of all. You're welcome, of course, to do the same with any I send! My one request is that you specify who you're interested in, even if it's just narrowing it down to a few options.

RULE FOUR・I never really practiced mains and exclusives officially before, but let's be real, we all have our favorites so please see my mains/exclusives list. For me, mains and exclusives come about as very good friends of mine ooc with heavily plotted and beloved characters and stories. Following my blog means you'll see a lot of those people, but unless stated otherwise, seeing me writing with or plotting with another version of your character doesn't mean I won't write/plot with yours, so hit me up! Different interactions for different versions!

RULE FIVE・Plotting is great! Not everyone is into it, and I certainly won't force it on anyone, but my IMs and discord are available for plotting if that's what you're into. In the same token, I'll gladly talk about my characters if you'd like more information about them and how I play them, or if you wanna talk about yours! I still request that you come to me with a few characters you're interested in, if not a full idea. I don't mind talking things through, but when you narrow down my list to a few muses you're most excited for, it really helps me get a feel for what kind of story you're looking for and where to go with ideas.

RULE SIX・ On blog organization: I've been around a little longer than I probably like admitting and I've collected a decent cast of characters that I like tossing around. This multimuse blog in particular is going to list any characters I actively bounce between to some extent, and where to find them. Some have solo blogs of their own, some are on a horror specific multimuse blog together to make it easier for people who don't like horror or don't care for the big fandoms on here, but they're all available to varying degrees. If I'm active in one place, I'm willing to be active in any of them, just ask and I'll brush the dust off if necessary. Please note that if you request a character here that lives on a different blog, you'll get a follow from that blog and your starter/ask will be posted there, not here.

RULE SEVEN・I ship chemistry, which generally means that I need time playing back and forth to build up some rapport before getting involved in a ship, so I'd prefer it if you didn't try to dive right into something before I'm ready. I like shipping, I love all kinds of relationships (platonic included) and I'll talk out pre-existing relationships so that we don't have to start from scratch on friendships, but it throws me off if our interactions IC go straight to dating when we barely know each other.

RULE EIGHT・I personally don't have much in the way of triggers outside of the obvious content most of us don't want to see - incest, pedophilia, homophobia, transphobia, animal abuse and probably others I'm forgetting but would certainly notice on sight. I don't ask people to tag that kind of stuff, I just unfollow, so probably best not to bother here if you're into that. I don't generally post much in the way of triggering content, but let me know if you see something and I'll tag things as: tw trigger . I don't tag blood or violence as a trigger if it's minor/genre-appropriate.

RULE NINE・I don't mind if you format or don't, but I only use basic aesthetic formatting myself - small text, icons and a little separator bar in most posts, and I have some banners for asks and the like. If you format to the point that your responses are difficult for me to read, that's another story, but I'm usually not too concerned with it.

RULE TEN・Credits! All graphics are made by me, please don't take! Icon bases/screencaps have been collected over the past decade or more from iconmakers dating back to hollowart, so credits are a little unsteady on those, but I could dig on request, apologies. Some coloring is me just messing around, some will be psds bought from pinkinnards, including sour cherry!

He’s quite literally haunted by the spirits of old friends who’ve either died because of him or simply because they were involved with him, and plagued by nightmares of the worst of it – Newcastle at the top of the list.PHYSICAL. It should come as no surprise that despite being in decent shape, John is not particularly healthy. He drinks, he smokes, he doesn’t eat well or exercise and he does a whole lot of questionable things. His smoking lead to lung cancer, which was killing him until he manipulated multiple Lords of Hell into healing him after he sold his soul to all of them – if he’d died, they would have been forced to go to war for his soul, and since none of them could risk that, the only option was that he couldn’t be allowed to die. It’s still unknown if he can die now, though the First of the Fallen would love nothing more than to get his hands on John’s soul.FEARS. Hell, first and foremost. He knows all too well what’s there, and he’s made a lot of enemies. He's also afraid to get close to too many people, knowing that becoming friends with him is all too often a death wish.EYESIGHT. It has taken a lot of trial and error over the course of his life, then much more involved training to get to where he is in controlling and utilizing his phasing the way he does, and if someone were to tell him he was doing it wrong, he’d probably shrug and agree that he probably is. There isn’t exactly a manual on it.Put most simply, he can walk through walls, though it’s hardly as simple as that. His best guess is that he steps into a side pocket of some sort that is attached to the ‘normal’ plane of reality, while not interacting with it properly, which allows him to move through solid objects. It was only through practice that he worked up to being able to touch and use solid objects, such as climbing a ladder instead of passing right through it and the wall it’s attached to, and the more finicky the movement is, the less likely it’ll work or that he’d even try it. The environment he phases into is something he’s taken to describing as ‘detached’, and given the fact that he first started use of it as a quick, reflexive escape from something that scared him, that’s always made sense to him. The journey from being the narcissistic and brilliant neurosurgeon to Sorcerer Supreme took years of study, but more important, a humbling of that ego that he’s taken to rather impressively. He’s learned so much that he’s come to understand how much he doesn’t know, how small the Earth and each individual on it really is in the grand scheme, but he’s also come to understand that each glorious pinprick serves a purpose and has a place. He’s not completely without ego and sometimes falls into the trap of thinking he’s right simply because he usually is and he’s often better informed than others in a situation, but he’s open to being wrong in ways he never would have been before.Guilt and loss stick with him far longer than anyone may ever know, plaguing his dreams and influencing his decisions to prevent such tragedies in the future, but he’s also keenly alert to the big picture of situations, and when he can see it, will do everything within his power to see the right thing done for the greater good, even if it means sacrifice or loss on a smaller scale. He's much older mentally than he is physically thanks to a few magical disasters requiring thinking outside of the box as a strategy, and her certainly feels it some days more than others. His 'bargaining' with Dormammu meant a small eternity of being killed and rewinding to do it over again before the entity gave in to Strange's demands and left Earth alone, in which Strange learned that in order to win, he had to lose endlessly.
